If you want to leave the car behind you can find everything you need in Tocco.

Wander down the main street and you'll find bars, restaurants, cafes and the gelateria (an ice cream parlour open from Easter to the Tocco festival in September). There are also a number of small family-owned supermarkets, a butcher, several bakeries, greengrocers, off-licence, newsagents, tobacconists, stationers, print shops, hairdressers.

There is also a post office and pharmacy on the road parallel with the main street but slightly further down the hill - at the end of which you can see the Banca Caripe where there is a cashpoint.

If you have a house in Tocco (and I would recommend it!) you may need to find the DIY store where the owner will often lend you the tools you need - but best to ask for a bit of help as it's tucked away near the entrance to the village.
